As part of this on-going program, American professor volunteers serve as consultants for the Russian students doing research on a range of topics related to this important topic. The student researchers then present the results of their work at a conference, usually occurring in May. .

During the 2nd annual youth conference in May 2001 eleven Grove City College students and a dozen Russian students presented papers at the conference in Ryazan examining the phenomenon of globalization from a variety of perspectives.

Besides taking part in the conference, the American students, along with Grove City professors Linda Christy and Andrew Markley, visited Moscow, St Petersburg and Vladimir, meeting with Russian educators, business-people and government officials along the way.
